Uganda Ministry of Education Offers Special Sponsorship for TVET Students – Academic Year 2025

The Ministry of Education and Sports has announced a special government sponsorship program for the Academic Year 2025, targeting Ugandan trainees who are already admitted under private sponsorship in selected Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

This opportunity is designed to support students pursuing priority diploma courses that previously did not have government sponsorship. The initiative particularly encourages female trainees and students with special needs to apply.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Hold a National or Craft Certificate with at least a credit, OR a UACE Certificate with credits in two relevant subjects.

• Already possess an admission letter for the Academic Year 2025/2026 from Uganda Technical College – Lira or Rwentanga Farm Institute for the listed courses.
