This exercise was conducted by UVTAB (Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board) officials on 10/10/2025. This exercise is performed to ensure that all Technical and Vocational training institutions uphold to minimum industrial standards and also to ensure that they are in line with the modularized curriculum set by ministry.

The Ministry of Education and Sports has announced a special government sponsorship program for the Academic Year 2025, targeting Ugandan trainees who are already admitted under private sponsorship in selected Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions

Students from various districts attended interviews for both Government and Private sponsorships, which were conducted from 4th to 8th August 2025.
